Key Features of the Slow Twist Mouthpiece :
- Enhanced Pressure Distribution : The slow twist design applies pressure on the bars and tongue, providing the rider with additional control through increased contact points, making it effective for horses that resist smoother mouthpieces.
- Defined Signaling : The gradual twist along the mouthpiece allows for clear, controlled signals, which can help sharpen a horse’s response to rein aids, encouraging quicker reactions.
- Recommended for Experienced Hands : This design is best suited for skilled riders who can handle the added control carefully, allowing for precise communication without overwhelming the horse.
Key Features of the Copper Roller :
- Salivation Stimulation : The copper roller encourages salivation, helping maintain a moister, more receptive mouth.
- Tongue Engagement : The movable roller invites the horse to interact with the bit using its tongue, which may improve attention and mouthing.
- Discourages Grabbing or Leaning : The roller’s movement can make it harder for the horse to lock against or lean on the bit, promoting more supple contact.
