The Large Copper Port D-Ring Bit features a copper mouthpiece with a port that sits above the tongue and engages the palate when rein pressure is applied. This encourages proper head elevation and discourages leaning or heavy contact. D-ring cheekpieces provide lateral stability and prevent the bit from sliding, supporting consistent rein contact. Ideal for experienced riders working with well-trained horses that respond to palate engagement and benefit from the natural salivation promoted by copper. 5.25".
